I am a creative director and strategic thinker specializing in identity systems and brand experience. With a deep focus on strategy and craft, I collaborate with clients to transform business objectives into compelling, impactful designs.
With 20 years of professional experience, I have worked across a wide range of industries, including bespoke design studios, museums and cultural institutions, publishing houses, and leading creative agencies.
A native New Yorker, I currently reside in Brooklyn and hold an MFA from Yale University and a BA from Stanford University.

Independent Designer and Creative Director

As a sole proprietor, I cultivate a deep understanding of stakeholders’ projects and business objectives, conduct thorough category research to deliver valuable market and audience insights, as well as benchmarks for evaluating creative work. In addition to maintaining an active role in design, I oversee full-service project management, which includes developing comprehensive scopes of work, creating phased project timelines, and managing budgets. I also coordinate the sourcing and management of external creative resources and vendors, including animators, photographers, programmers, production teams, and print services. Projects encompass a wide range of deliverables including complete visual identity systems and assets, brand guidelines, templates, branded experience concepts for events, pop-ups, and trade shows, books, brochures, catalogs, icon suites, and illustration libraries.

In my tenure at Siegel+Gale, I partnered with global clients to strategically develop, manage, and expand enterprise brands, campaigns, branded programs, and products. I led multidisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with strategy, brand communications, and experience teams, while also overseeing the execution of custom illustrations, animation, sonic design, icon libraries, and templates. I was also a key team member on multiple, successful new business pitches.

I led the creative division of a dynamic, fast-paced brand strategy and consulting firm, overseeing the growth of the firm’s design capabilities. I expanded the design services from providing supporting graphics and one-off projects to establishing a comprehensive visual branding and design practice.

I developed, managed, and expanded complex global brands by creating distinctive, strategically informed visual identities and comprehensive brand guidelines. I designed a range of branded materials, including whitepapers, annual reports, and presentations, while also providing expert consultation on the design and branding of client-created assets.
